Our partner organisation in Ghana has now an own website: cdvghana-ngo.org. On this site and on their facebook page you find the latest first hand information, photos and videos about our common projects.

The two joint heads of our association travelled together to Ghana during September. They visited the construction site of our school project and met the children of our sponsorshop programme. Furthermore, they checked how our funding has been used by our partner organisation in Ghana by verifying prices for construction material on the market and checking bills. Even though these work related activities took quite some time they were also enjoying the country itself and the hospitality of their Ghanaian hosts. Here are some photos for a first impression:
Our second musical charity concert took place on October 16th, 2016 in the assembly hall of the Bruckfield School in Filderstadt-Bernhausen. It was a very successful evening, given the many visitors and many interesting discussions we had.

We invite you to our 2nd charity concert, which will take place on 16 Oct 2016, 18:00 h in the Aula of the school Bruckenackerschule, Fröbelstrasse in Filderstadt-Bernhausen.
Our association will present its work and Paul and Daniel will talk about their impressions from the work in Ghana, which they have gained during their trip in September.
The musical part of the evening will be celebrated by the vocal ensemble “StimmBänd” and two of Stuttgarts most famous opera singers, Catriona Smith and Maria Theresa Ullrich. They will be supported by Alan Hamilton.
During the intermission fingerfood and drinks will be offered. The event will come to a close around 19:45 h. We are looking forward to seeing you in Filderstadt.
On 22 June 2016 the 8th Social Marketplace took place in the Stuttgart City Hall. The idea behind this event is in generating trade-offs for mutual profit: Companies have professional know-how and material resources, which often charitable organizations are lacking. On the contrary, charitable organizations can help with voluntary workforce and can provide immaterial values. The marketplace represents a forum to arrange cooperations.

We have reached an important milestone: just before the rain season, the basement of our school has been finished. The inhabitants have now started to manufacture the first bricks for the walls.

Our partner association in Ghana sent us the first photos from the construction site for the school building in Tsikudokope. It can be seen how the groundwork is being built and the production of the first bricks is prepared.
